South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resident Ella Quillen’s Success Story!

Mrs. Ella Quillen came to us in October after a short stay in the hospital. She was weak and couldn’t walk due to issues with her feet. It was a struggle at first, but Mrs. Quillen began to warm up to our Care Team members and began working on her journey to return home. Our nursing team treated the issues with her feet and our therapy department worked with her to build up her strength. Frequent visits from her family and the beautiful family dog, Texaco, kept her smiling and determined to get stronger. In just a month, Mrs. Quillen had made enough progress that she was able to be discharged and return home! We are so happy for her and very thankful that we were part of her journey. We hope she is enjoying her time at home and wish her the very best.
