When we were first notified about Covid-19, we immediately began preparing by establishing support units and collecting PPE. These units are designed for residents within our community who have tested positive. These units have designated staff and the added resource of a Respiratory Therapist to assist with respiratory complications. We are not admitting residents from the hospital with Covid-19, these units are for our internal residents and our residents returning from the hospital. Care provided in these units will be tailored to each resident and focused on reclaiming full health.

Provided Services

• Direct care during respiratory complications/ Covid-19 experience.
• Fully stocked necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Respiratory assessments completed at least twice a day (more if necessary).
• Private rooms to control the spread of Covid-19.
• Mandated state, federal and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance when caring for residents with positive/suspected Covid-19.
